A Quick Look At The Infinix Alpha Marvel

Infinix Marvel Kenya JUUCHINI

The Infinix Alpha Marvel is a black, thin and sleek-looking smartphone sporting a 5 inch HD touch screen display that’s shiny and black. It has a matte finish on the back metallic casing that ensures a firm grip. I’ve had the Alpha Marvel for about 2 weeks now and having played with it for a while I can honestly say it is a pretty good device.

What comes inbox with this device?

  1. a new screen protector (which I really think most manufacturers need to start thinking about when boxing devices that have delicate screens)
  2. a flat-top USB charger (makes sense as it lengthens the charging cable)
  3. USB cable (flat design that gives it a premium look)
  4. In-ear phones (white)
  5. Push-pin (for removing the sim-card tray)
  6. And a warranty care with the phone’s IMEI for service purposes (valid for 365 days)

The OS is Android 4.2.1 more popularly known as Android JellyBean. What’s more is the theme picker which allows you to choose a skin over the usual phone interface. You can have either Stylish, Classic or Luxury and it gives you control over the wallpaper, and the icon styling both on the home screen and app menu.

First, it comes with a number of preloaded apps that are accessible from Google’s PlayStore or Palmplay Now and with 16 GB internal memory you can pretty much install everything you need to on it. It however does not have an SD slot so the capacity is a bit restricted for those who like to have thousands of songs follow them wherever they go. The camera is great too at 13MP meaning you can take amazing pictures with this device even in low light situations. You’re also able to edit images instantly. What’s more is that you have a 5 MP front facing camera which is great for Skype calls right from the hand held device.

Overall, this is a good phone to use and for its price, 30,000 KES in Kenya, it really is a bargain.
