Meet Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 With Built-in Projector

Lenovo has added three new tablets to its Yoga generation, including a 13.3” screen Yoga Tablet 2 Pro, which features a built in projector that allows users to beam the display on any surface delivering a 50” theatre like experience.

Launched on Thursday October 9th, the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro comes with an incredible 8 watts surround sound system featuring a 5W bass subwoofer, twin front-facing JBL speakers and Dolby Audio allowing for multi-channel listening experience.

The tablet features a Quad High Definition screen display with a 2560*1440 resolution, an 8 Mega Pixel rear camera and a 1.6 Mega Pixel front-facing camera.

In addition to the Stand, Hold and Tilt modes of viewing present in previous tablets, the Yoga Tablet 2 comes also in a Hang mode that is achieved by rotating the new enhanced kickstand to up to 180 degrees.

Yoga Tablet 2 Pro features a long battery life of up to 18 hours of power at a single charge. The battery cylinder has been designed to allow for change in weight distribution making it easier to hold. These specs have made the tablet heavy at 965 grams.

Operating of a quad-core Intel Atom Z3745 processor, the tablet features 2GB RAM, an internal storage of 32GB with an expandable micro SD storage of up to 64GB.

When it comes to connectivity, Yoga Tablet 2 Pro runs on the 4th generation Intel Atom processor with a support for Bluetooth and USB on-the-go.

Running on the Android 4.4 KitKat, the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro has been made available for purchase at $499 (approx. KES 44,910) on the Lenovo website.

The other two tablets also launched into the Yoga family come in 8” and 10” versions running on either Android or Windows. Prices of the smaller tablets vary depending on the operating system in the device.
