Tennis Lovers are in for a treat as StarTimes has announced that it will broadcast all 39 matches of the Hopman Cup, live from Perth from Sunday 3rd January to Saturday 9th January 2016.StarTimes will also broadcast the World Tennis Cup running on the 12th, 13th, and 14th of January as well as Fast Tennis 4 on 11th January on the Pay TV channel StarTimes which has bought the all platform rights of 2016 in Sub-Saharan African and will broadcast the matches exclusively in the Anglo and Linguaphone countries.

The Hopman Cup – founded in 1989 and named in honour of Harry Hopman is the official mixed gender team competition of the International Tennis Federation consists of the some of the World’s eleven top 40 players and three top ten players as they battle it out to become the 28th Hopman Champions. Serena Williams will be making her fourth appearance at the Hopman Cup in a bid to become the first 3-time champion joining World Number 2 Andy Murray, French superstar Gael Monfils ad Australian Gold’s Lleyton Hewitt and Casey Dellacqua as some of the biggest names in tennis around the globe.

2016’s Hopman Cup will see two Australian teams compete; Australia Gold and Australian Green with the other participating teams coming from the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ukrain and the USA.

World Tennis Cup will be hosted in Adelaide and will plays host to hand-picked, past and present world class stars during three evenings of excellent tennis filled with competitive tension and humour when legends Mats Wilander, Goran Ivanisevic, Marion Bartoli, Aranta Saanchez-Vicario and Iva Majoli join current stars Thanasi Kokkinaki and Mark Philippoussis in a series of singles and doubles matches.  The tournament also includes a Women’s legends 6-game set.
